Groove Plans

There are a lot of unlimited features in there such as custom domains, page hosting, templates, page imports, integrations, ecommerce stores and products. Even where the features are limited, it’s still enough to get a new business off the ground, so you can understand the reasoning behind the limitation. For example, 1 blog is all you need if you have just 1 website. 15 videos is not too much but it is sufficient to get good traction. In addition, most businesses that are just starting up may not even have a contact list, so 500 contacts will do just fine.

Check out our GrooveFunnels review for a full look at the platform.

GetResponse is an all-in-one marketing solution for email list building, communication, and sales and marketing.

You can use GetResponse to build landing pages, design and deliver professional looking emails, create and market webinars, automate your marketing campaigns.

Other features include:

  • Web push notifications
  • Paid ads
  • Live chat

Get Response’s conversion funnels feature is easy tto use and it allows you to build and set up visually appealing sales funnels within minutes.

GetResponse pricing is affordable —up to a certain point— making it an option for beginners, solopreneurs, and SMBs.

It has a free plan limited to 500 contacts, 1 landing page and limited website builder.

The email marketing plan costs $19/month, and includes additional features such as segmentation, auto responders, integration, email scheduling and unlimited landing pages and website builder.

The Marketing automation plan costs $59/month and gives access to automation features, advanced segmentation, among others.

The ecommerce marketing plan is the highest plan. At $119/month, it gives access to all GetResponse features.

Note however that pricing for these plans will increase as the number of contacts increases.

With a free forever plan and a paid plans starting from as low as $27, System is a beginner’s business person’s dream tool.

The only thing I find missing in this tool is a list builder. Then again, if you already have a list building tool, you can integrate it for free.

Kartra is a money-saver as far as sales funnels go. It boasts a wide array of capabilities including CRM, email marketing, building landing pages, opt in forms, live chat, checkout, etc. there is a single tool out there for each of these capabilities but Kartra rules them out by providing you all these functions under one roof.

Kartra provides set up instructions on your dashboard, making it easy to set up

Although we like all the functions that come with Kartra, its video function is what’s got us all floored. Video funnels, complete with calls to action and opt in forms make a powerful lead generation and audience building tool.

With plans starting from $99/ month, Kartra pricing works for businesses of different budget sizes, although some beginners may struggle with the price tag. Know however that Kartra supports very few integrations so if you already work with a bunch of software, they may not integrate into Kartra.

See our Kartra review for more details.

ClickFunnels is probably one of the most hyped tools out there. But while the tool gets raving reviews from its users, this doesn’t stop critics from bashing this funnel building tool. The company is for instance quite salesy, which might put you off if you don’t like pushy marketing. But what ClickFunnels lacks in modesty and esthetics (their templates are dated), it makes up in other ways, such as with their cookbook, weekly hackathons, backpack (affiliate management), and funnel Flax.

With two ClickFunnels pricing plans –basic at $97 and platinum at $297 – there are options for small and large businesses alike.

It is however easy to use, with a popup editor that guides you through every stage of building your funnels. You can also access a real human agent through the help button straight from inside your builder, quite a handy feature if you experience challenges when building.

HubSpot started off as CRM software but has over the years expanded its offering to include forms, landing pages, marketing automation, drag and drop email building, funnel building, etc.

You can get started with HubSpot’s CRM for free, and score leads, view all activity by a contact, tag leads, and perform many other actions specific to a contact’s position in the funnel.

HubSpot has several plans – marketing hub, sales hub, service hub and the free HubSpot CRM. However, if you want to enjoy the entire suite of features, the CRM suite may be just what you need.

We find HubSpot easy to navigate. However it seems impossible to build a complete funnel on just one hub. All the same, you can analyze conversion rates throughout across different stages.

Wishpond’s ease of use is almost unequalled among the marketing platforms we reviewed. We highly recommend this software for anyone looking for attractive templates to aid your giveaways campaigns on social media.

Wishpond is chockfull of templates for creating popups and sweepstakes landing pages. While it’s not the most sophisticated automation tool we have experienced, it still gives you a wide selection of conditions to work with. That’s in addition to A/B testing (not available in the ‘starting out’ package) and a couple of useful integrations such as MailChimp and ActiveCampaign.

In addition, although you can use Wishpond to build sales funnels, you will not see a visual workflow while building. So you will, in a sense, be building blind.

Thrivesuite is also a complete marketing software that you can use to build courses, quizzes, landing pages, websites, and pretty any marketing campaign you can think of.

Going for just between $19/month and $30/month – depending on whether you pay annually or quarterly – Thrivesuite is pretty affordable. It is especially suited for anyone who works with a wide number of websites.

If however you must have email marketing and automation, Thrivesuite may not be the tool for you.

Keap is a complete marketing service favored by small and medium sized business owners for its CRM, automation, landing page building, segmentation, and analytics, lead scoring, messaging, and funnel building features.

Keap integrates with WordPress, Magento and Shopify, giving you more out of your ecommerce, coaching, course, or blogging business.

At $169 to $249/month, Keap’s pricing locks out many small businesses that may struggle with budgets.  But the funnel builder is a breeze to use and offers lots of options. Plus, it’s visual.

If you’re looking for software you can use to collect unlimited leads without charging you extra, you might want to start with Leadpages.

Leadpages plans range from $37/month to $321/month, making this software ideal for a wide range of business needs.

It has a lot of features: you can use it to build websites, landing pages, pop ups with its drag and drop editor. You can also build Facebook and Instagram ads, run sms campaigns, and A/B test your campaigns.

Everything is easy to set up and like I mentioned, you don’t need to pay extra.

That said, some key features are missing. For instance, Lead pages doesn’t have a built-in email feature, which I think is a major downside. However, if you don’t mind this, you can integrate your email service quite easily.

Instapage is a landing page tool that claims to deliver a 400% conversion increase to its customers.

Instapage comes with advanced features such as landing page personalization, collaboration, A/B testing and Admap, a proprietary feature for visualizing and connecting ads to landing pages.

But all these features are limited to landing page building. You can certainly build out your landing pages into a funnel – a lot of businesses still do that especially if they have subscriptions to other tools such as email builder. All you have to do is integrate your tools using Zapier.

However, if you need a tool that handles all funnel building components in one place, checkout the other options on this list.

As a landing page builder, Instapage provides an excellent service. If you can look past the fact that Instapage is not a funnel building tool and want to give it a go, you should be aware of the following downsides:

Instapage pricing might be costly for some. It’s got two plans: building, which costs $199/month, and converting, a customized plan.

You cannot access most features on the building plan. For example, you cannot integrate Marketo and Salesforce, use heat maps, create multi step forms, personalize ads to pages, etc. almost half of Instapage features aren’t accessible on this plan, which is too much considering the price tag.

Bottom Line: Which Sales Funnel Builder Should You Choose?

Your choice of sales funnel builder and software should depend on your budget and what you want to do with the tool. It should also be guided by your marketing stack.

However, as I mentioned at the beginning of this article, GrooveFunnels is our top pick because it ticks all the boxes:

  • It is a full suite of tools, therefore it will save you the headache of managing all your subscriptions.
  • Cheap in the long run. The lifetime offer of $99 makes it affordable. If you do the math for all the other tools you are paying for, you’ll see why Groove funnels, an all-in-one funnel building tool is worth it.
  • Ease of use. The templates make it easy for beginners and busy entrepreneurs to build and launch their funnels quickly and easily.
