What is the best Sendlane pricing plan for your business? We can help you decide with our in-depth pricing guide below.

We look at the features and suitability of each pricing plan in detail (including the helpful  Starter Pack plan) so you can make a clear and correct choice for your company.

The very quick breakdown is this: Sendlane lets you create your own custom plan based on how many email contacts you have and SMS credits you need.

You can try all the Sendlane features free for 14 days (with certain limits) and no credit card is required. Also keep in mind that you pay annually instead of monthly, you get 2 months free!

Lets dig into the Sendlane details!

Sendlane Pricing

Growth Plan

$99

Per month

($79/mo when billed annually saving $198 a year)

Professional Plus Plan

$249

Per month

($208/mo when billed annually saving $498 a year)

Starter Pack

$497

One Time payment

Growth Plan at $99 per month ($79 per month when billed annually)

The key element that impacts Sendlane pricing is the number of contacts you have. You can have up to 5,000 contacts on the Growth plan. If you have more contacts than this, you will need to use the Professional Plus plan.

Sendlane helps you maximise the efficiency of your contact list by automatically removing unengaged users. Using their automatic List Hygiene feature, Sendlane will continuously remove contacts who are not engaging in your content which frees up Contact space.

You will be able to send unlimited emails however with the Growth plan which is a great benefit and can really help you focus on getting your email sequencing correct without worrying about email limitations. A full conversion tested email template library is also included with the Growth plan.

You have access to Sendlane’s full marketing automation functionality with the Growth plan. This includes all their customer-tested automation funnels, event based marketing automations, trigger based marketing automations and behavior based marketing automations.

Full access to Sendlane’s intelligent pop ups and forms comes with the Growth plan as well as Experiment multivariate testing and segmentation.

This testing is more advanced than plain a/b testing as it allows you to test a variety of email elements in up to 4 email versions.

The platform will then automatically find the best email version for you based on data received from your audience. This saves you valuable time on manually assessing each test.

There are no limitations on integrations on the Growth plan. Critical apps like Shopify and Zapier can be connected easily along with dozens more. You can find out more about these in our Sendlane review

There are no limits on User access either so your workers can have an alternative login with their own password to your Sendlane account so you can work on the account simultaneously.

As you would expect, you have no limitations on conversion tracking or analytics either – every data point can be analyzed with the Growth plan.

Sendlane give full access to their Beacon Website Tracker too. This tracking pixel allows you to follow a customers journey as soon as they click though and engage with email you sent. This lets you target certain users and trigger automations at the right time to drive sales.

24/7 email and chat customer support is included with the Growth plan and basic onboarding support.

Professional Plus Plan at $249 per month ($208 per month when billed annually)

The biggest difference between the two Sendlane plans is the Contact limits. You go from 5,000 allowed Contacts to 10,000 with the Professional Plus plan.

Here is a quick breakdown of the charges as you increase the Contact quota above 10,000:

  • If you have between 10,000 and 20,000 contacts you will be charged $329 per month ($274 per month if billed annually).
  • If you have between 20,000 and 30,000 contacts you will be charged $399 per month ($333 per month if billed annually).
  • If you have between 20,000 and 30,000 contacts you will be charged $399 per month ($333 per month if billed annually).

You are limited to 250,000 sending credits (total emails you can send in automations) at this tier. This doubles to 500,000 if you have between 10,000 and 20,000 contacts ($329 per month). You will be charged $0.25 per 1,000 emails you go over this limit. So for example, if you send 254,000 emails you would be charged an extra $1.

It’s worth remembering that there are no email sending limits with the Growth plan – just the Professional Plus plan.

You will get white glove onboarding support from an implementation manager so the migration process is painless and quick.

The Professional Plus plan will also give you a Customer Success Manager to work with. They will assess your campaigns / email deliverability and review their effectiveness each month and actively handle any queries you have in a quicker fashion than standard support.

Sendlane Starter Package for $497 (One Time Payment)

You can get unlimited access to Sendlane’s in-depth email marketing training course if you purchase the Starter package.

Their eCom Email Academy Course includes 57 video lessons and 30+ pages of Case Studies and is instructed by email marketing experts.

The Starter Package also gives you 6 month discounted access to the Sendlane Growth plan. You are getting the Growth plan for $82 ($497/6 months) per month instead of $99 per month normally with this Starter Package.

This assumes too that the eCom Academy course is free (it’s definitely worth over $1,000) so the deal is actually better than that.
