Looking for info on Podia integrations so you can determine if the popular online course platform is a good fit for your workflow?

Podia is a flexible platform that supports dozens of integrations either natively, through Zapier or by adding a code snippet. The apps you can integrate into Podia include email services, payment gateways, analytics tools, CRM, webinar tools and advertising platforms.

Integrations increase the number of things you can do on Podia.

This means that besides hosting courses, you can also communicate, handle all your transactions, and monitor the progress of your business, depending on which Podia plan you choose.

Let’s have a look at Podia integrations in more detail below.

Table of Contents

Podia E-Mail Integrations

Email is one of the most important resources for growing a business. With email, you can capture leads, nurture them through your sales pipeline, respond to customer questions, and send any relevant business-related communication such as newsletters.

You probably already have an email marketing service such as Mail Chimp, ConvertKit, GetResponse, and ActiveCampaign to help you handle your emails.

But did you know that you can further streamline your emails by integrating your service into Podia?

Integrating will:

  • Reduce the amount of work you have to do working from different platforms
  • Increase your response rate and reduce gaps in customer communication with drip emails
  • Keep all your email analytics in one place
  • Track sales and segment your lists
  • Conduct your marketing campaigns with ease

MailChimp

MailChimp is a highly-developed and specialized email campaign tool. Combined with Podia, it can turn your business into a profitable digital store.

MailChimp is popular with users because of its free plan that provides new and growing businesses with all the tools they need to scale their businesses. MailChimp’s built in CRM system also allows you to track customer activity and to monitor sales.

To integrate MailChimp, go to your Podia account, then: Settings>integrations>email integrations>turn on MailChimp.

Once you toggle the button next to MailChimp to “ON”, you’ll need to go log into your MailChimp account to complete the integration.

ActiveCampaign

ActiveCampaign is also a powerful email automation system. You can use it to create and automate custom campaigns, score your leads, and as a CRM system. Although it’s quite robust, it’s also surprisingly easy to set up and use.

To integrate ActiveCampaign, you need to get the ActiveCampaign API key and URL and add them into Podia.

You can do this by going into your ActiveCampaign account, then: settings>developer>API Access. The key and URL are clearly shown under API Access.

Unlike MailChimp, ActiveCampaign is costlier, but it is also feature-packed and its automation and segmentation features are almost unrivalled. Its email designer is also powerful and adjusts to the needs of a growing business. All these factors make Active Campaign the go-to tool for sending highly personalized emails.

ConvertKit

ConvertKit may not be as robust as ActiveCampaign or as generous with its features as MailChimp, but it’s also a decent email service that can integrate with Podia.

You need an API key and secret key (optional) to integrate ConvertKit with Podia. You can get these keys under “account info” in your ActiveCampaign account.

Go to the apps integrations page in Podia: Settings>integrations>email integrations>toggle on ConvertKit>paste the API key and secret key.

Once you connect ConvertKit, you can grow your email fan base at a budget friendly price, segment, tag, and create unlimited landing pages, forms and broadcasts.

AWeber

AWeber is an email sending tool that supports list building, segmentation and tagging, landing page creation, click tracking, behavioral automation, among others.

Whether you are on Free AWeber or AWeber Pro, you can connect this email tool to Podia to better manage your broadcasts and marketing campaigns.

Podia provides two payment options: Stripe and PayPal, both of which allow you to receive payment instantly. Besides the fees you incur from Stripe or PayPal, Podia does not charge any extra transaction fees.

PayPal

Before integrating PayPal into Podia, you should know that Podia only supports one-time payments.

Podia does not support subscription or membership payments through PayPal because the payment processor can sometimes delay payments by up to 24 hours.

You can easily connect your PayPal business account to Podia by going to settings in podia, click on payments, then scroll to the PayPal icon and click “connect”. This will prompt you to log into your PayPal account. Once login is successful, head over back to Podia to confirm successful integration.

Stripe

Stripe is a newer payment processor, but it processes payments across a lot more currencies and also supports additional payment services such as Apple Pay and Microsoft Pay.

You can integrate stripe into Podia to receive one-time payment, in addition to membership and subscription payments.

To integrate, log into Podia and under settings, go to payments and click “connect” next to Stripe. You will be prompted to log into Stripe to complete the connection.
